We wanted to share an important update with our Legacy Games community. As part of ongoing changes to our website and services, we’ll be officially retiring our Online Games section this Monday, 6/16/25, at 1pm PST.
Not to be confused with our regular catalog of game bundles, we specifically mean this section of the website will be wiped of its free-to-play games. We know many of you have enjoyed these games over the years— quick, browser-based favorites perfect for a coffee break or a cozy evening in. While we loved offering them as a free, accessible way to play, it’s time for us to shift focus to new and exciting projects.
If you’ve played any of the titles in our Online Games section and want to preserve your progress, we strongly recommend reaching out to the original developers of those games. This is a case by case basis and some developers may offer account migration or options to save your profile data, but unfortunately, Legacy Games cannot guarantee that your data can be saved. Since we served only as a host platform, any issues or troubleshooting will need to be addressed directly with the developers of those games.
We understand that this may come as a disappointment, and we truly appreciate your support and understanding. Change isn’t always easy… but it’s often the start of something wonderful!
So get ready because something magical and mysterious is surfacing very soon… ✨

My downloaded library is subjected to stop working on Monday 16th June or what is only those played online without download required? Thank you for your reply.
Hi James, not to worry, your Game Library within the Legacy Games Launcher will be completely unaffected by this change. Your games are yours to keep and we’re sticking by that! 🙂
Only https://legacygames.com/online/ will be affected, so if you have been playing some free browser based games there and need to ask some devs to save your progress, we recommend doing so. That way, you may be able to continue these games across other websites or apps unaffiliated with Legacy Games.
All my purchased games are gone. I can log into my account but nothing shows up. Just get a message saying nothing available. I can go on your website and find my purchased games but do no know how to get them all back into my library
Hi Barbara, we’re sorry about that. Our Game Launcher’s server encountered an unexpected issue but I am happy to report that it has been fixed. Please log back into your Game Launcher and you should find all your games in your library. If you still need help, please send an email to our customer service. Thanks!
