Hero Club Changes Coming Oct 1st

Updated 12/25: Extended renewal date: Feb 1st. Recently edited to further explain Superhero and Ultimate Hero plans and when all members can expect to be charged when their subscriptions renew.

Hello Legacy Gamers, and the heroes among you!

Thank you to all hero members who took the survey and gave us such valuable feedback. We listened and are proud to bring you a new, improved version of the Hero Club that caters to your requests!

What’s New?

So many of you asked to make the club simpler, more flexible, and more fun. Starting next month, the Hero Club will have one streamlined tier at just $4.99/month. No more juggling three tier options.

Your Choice, Every Month

Instead of the old Game of the Month system, you’ll now pick from 3 curated game choices each month. Select the one you’re most excited to play, and get gaming!

Each title will be worth greater value than before, ranging from $9.99 to $19.99 for each game. This ensures that even with the new monthly Hero Tier price, you’re still getting the best possible savings compared to any of our competitors.

Plus, it’s yours to keep. Just make your choice, and it’ll be in your Game Library whenever you want to play, even if you cancel your membership. No revoking games here!

More Choice Really Means More

Not feeling our curated picks that month? No problem! You now have the option to save up your coupons and spend them on any current or upcoming Game of the Month Picks. For example, if none of the choices appeals to you in November, save your coupon to get two games in December.

Your Game of the Month coupons expire after one year from the day you receive them, so you have the time to be picky (pun intended)!

Bigger and Better Deals

Next, you wanted more exclusives for joining our club. Heard! Heroes will continue to get the best deals during sales and bigger savings than anyone else.

But where this really gets fun is during member-only sales! That’s right, join your fellow deal hunters and keep an eye on our newsletter to be in the know and get the best savings!

When is this happening?

October 1st, 2025!

Please note, regardless of your current membership’s sign up date, you will be charged $4.99/month on the first of each month starting Oct. 1st, granting your coupon for that month’s Hero Club Reward automatically.

When you log in to LegacyGames.com, head to the Hero Club page to see your choices that month. Add a game to your Cart and apply your coupon from My Rewards. Volia! New game acquired!

What if I am a Superhero or Ultimate Hero?

As part of this update, Hero Club will no longer include free packs. Many players told us it was difficult to find time to play them all, so we’re focusing on giving Heroes more flexibility and better value instead.

We want to be as transparent as possible and really show how much we appreciate our loyal heroes. For any Superhero or Ultimate Hero subscribed since September 1st, 2025, we will be honoring your current tier’s benefits until February 1st, 2026. Meaning, if you would still like to stick around, you will get a coupon to redeem your 3 or 5 pack each month, for $6.99 and $9.99 respectively.

Additionally, your Game of the Month game will still be granted, through the end of the year, chosen by us. Then, come February 1st, 2026, your membership will automatically be transferred to the new, one-tier Hero Club program and you will be billed $4.99 starting on February 1st, continuing on the 1st of each month until cancellation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know in the comments.

We’re excited for you to experience the updated Hero Club: simpler pricing, more customization, and the same great deals you love. Thank you for being a Hero!

  1. Question, so after January 1st, will we have to sign up for the new $4.99 membership or will we just be charged the reduced rate.
Also, can we use our coupons for the packs?
I’m disabled and not able to work and enjoyed the packs, I do understand that not everyone has the time that I do.
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Shari, thanks for your questions! Yes, to clarify, if you were a Superhero or Ultimate Hero, by the time Oct. 1 rolls around, you have two options. You could keep the outdated Hero Club benefits for the free 3 or 5 packs at $6.99/month and $9.99/month respectively, up until the end of the year. Otherwise, to update your membership, please cancel your current Superhero or Ultimate Hero plan and resubscribe to join the new, single tier Hero Club program at $4.99/month. On January 1st, if you still have an active membership, your subscription will transfer to the updated, single tier program with the rest of the members.

For Reward coupons, those are staying the same! But if you mean that you have some Superhero or Ultimate Hero coupons to still redeem, you can continue to use those too while that membership is still active. Keep in mind, they expire 1 year after they were received.

      Thank you!

  2. Who in the world ruined this? I want to use my coupons for the packs otherwise it’s still not worth because you can buy these on Amazon, Walmart, big fish etc and get more games than the price y’all will be charging for a select amount of games. Whoever made these complaints thanks for ruining it. That or y’all are making it up to make more money. Guessing this won’t go over well. So frustrating!!!

    1. Hi Heather, thanks for sharing your honest thoughts with us. We really do value your feedback. I want to assure you that this change wasn’t made lightly. This change came in response to our Hero Club member survey, where many asked for more choice in their Game of the Month.

Even with the update, the Hero Club is still the best value online for these games, giving you hand-curated titles each month at a lower cost than you’d find buying them individually on Amazon, Walmart, or Big Fish. Our goal is to keep the club both affordable and flexible, and we’ll continue listening to member feedback as we grow.

      Thank you!

    1. Hello! To transfer your points into coupons go to My Rewards (the little gift box on our header or the orange button at the bottom right of the screen). There, you should find a section called My Rewards explaining how many points are worth what value of coupon. Click the Redeem button and voilà: coupon generated! Use that code on your next purchase for a discount.

    1. Thanks for telling us! Please check our reply above and let me know if anything needs clarification or if you have any other questions. Thanks!

  3. I liked getting to pick 3-5 game packs and yes choosing 1 out 3 is a good idea for that part but I do not see how I will get the same good deal I was getting with my ultimate hero membership. I do not see a coupon in my rewards for the free monthly game? Do I need click on sign up to make this change or will automatically change after December 31st?

    1. Hello, we’re sorry for the confusion. You can only have one subscription active at a time. Because the old Hero/Superhero/Ultimate hero tiers are no longer available, if you cancel your Ultimate Hero subscription to join the new single tier Hero Club, you will lose the benefits of the old tiers and cannot rejoin those discontinued tiers. This means, you either get to choose your Game of the Month as a new Hero or make no change and get the old Ultimate Hero coupons for a 3 or 5 pack each month up until Dec 31st.
We hope that this new Hero Club caters to the requests of our gaming community so that players like you can still get incredible deals on games at a lower price than what we were offering before. Thanks you! If you have any more questions, let us know or send us an email! 🙂
