Murder in the Abbey (PC)

Monks, murder, and above all, suspense. An old abbey is the scene of a series of mysterious murders, and only one man can put a stop to the slaughter. Former Grand Inquisitor Leonardo and his assistant Bruno are sent by the Vatican to the isolated abbey to investigate the strange goings-on surrounding a carefully guarded secret. Yet hardly have they arrived when their quest is overshadowed by an attempt on their lives.

Murder in the Abbey is a mystery of cinematic proportions whose suspense goes far beyond that of a conventional adventure game!

Monks and murder-- what an unusual game. It's a 3rd person medieval mystery, played in adventure game style. You need to pick up different religious relics as you play, trying to solve the crime. Don't let the title image mislead you...it's all done in animated cartoon style, with brilliant graphics. The locations in the game are great, like the library, cemetery, hospital, stables, and wine cellar. There's lots of dialogue too, but the voice acting is excellent. I really enjoyed it.
