There are two game play modes. One has you only serving tables, and the other also has you cooking. Hectic isn't even the word for it. It's very challenging, and nearly impossible to beat from early on. You have to keep customers happy in addition to making enough money, and that's the trick! Play the demo and see, because you will probably get stuck too.

I LOVE time management games, but I'm getting tired of the diner and restaurant theme. Anyone else? There are some new good ones on other themes, thankfully.
